Twilight's Kristen Stewart to replace Angelina Jolie in Wanted 2?

I said that when Angelina Jolie pulled out of the Wanted sequel, that I thought that pretty much killed it.
But the producers may have figured out a way around Angelina's absence, by focusing on another up and coming star.
No, not Megan Fox.
It appears the producers are looking at Twilight's Kristen Stewart to fill the void left by Angelina.

Rumor has it that Kristen will play a young assassin and James McAvoy will be back as Wesley Gibson.
The original idea that I had heard was that Fox (Angelina's character) was put in the healing wax bath and that she would be good to go for the sequel.
But when Angie nixed that idea, all looked like it was lost.

If this works out and Kristen does do the Wanted sequel, that will put the legions of Twilight fans behind the new project.

Now, will Kristen be playing Fox or another character?

As you know, Fox took a bullet to the head in the original, so could even the waxy bath save her?
Does she have an ability that allows her to regenerate like Dr. Who?
Did she do some kinda psychic transfer just before she died?
Does Wesley do some secret Tibetan ritual that transfers Fox's essence from one body to another?
Does Kristen play an all new character?
I gotta go with the last one, because that would allow Wesley to become the mentor, let Fox rest in peace, and give Kristen a new character to fill out.

Angelina Jolie, Tila Tequila, Haiti and News of the World

Wow....Tila Tequila thinks Angelina Jolie is copying her.
Yes, the former MTV reality show star said "Oh so now Angelina Jolie is trying to adopt a baby from Haiti! Ha! Copying me much?? I used to like her, but having that many kids is abuse!"

Well Angelina did go to Haiti, she is after all a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
She and Brad Pitt have donated one million dollars to Doctors without Borders for their emergency medical operations in Haiti.
And when Angelina was in Haiti, she met with Edmond Mulet, acting U.N. Special Representative for Haiti and senior U.N. staff at their headquarters.
She also met with Haitians doing quake debris cleanup and she spent the night in a Brazilian military camp outside Port-au-Prince.

Brad has been quoted as saying that Angelina is "always open to children around the world," but she will not be adopting a kid from the earthquake-devastated country any time soon.

And Angelina told CNN that "For somebody who is an adoptive parent, I understand the urge to assist in that way. But now is not the time, an emergency is not the time for new adoptions in any way."

Maybe we should get Tila a RSS news feed so she can keep up with all this.

And in other news, Brad and Angelina are firing back at the British tabloid, News of the World, for the story they ran last month that alleged the couple were working out details of a split.
I guess they finally had enough of the rumor, so they have decided to sue News of the World.
As I have pointed out here before, it seems about every six months the tabloids run their "Brad and Angelina Are Breaking Up" story with a little variation each time.
Maybe a few lawsuits will stifle that noise.

Brad is one of the handsomest men in the world and Angelina is one of the most beautiful women so I guess that makes them targets.
But c'mon people, Angelina and Brad have done way more to help the world's children than a lot (maybe 95%) of the stars out there.
Sure they may have problems, who doesn't?
So the next time you see a tabloid article screaming some lurid details about their life, think about all the good they have done.
I hate to go all Biblical here, but read Matthew 7:15-20.

Angelina Jolie, Karen Elson and St John

Although Angelina Jolie is on the cover of almost every tabloid and gossip magazine in the world, the one place you wont be seeing her is in ads for St. John, the luxury knitwear company.
The company has decided to step away from actresses and has chosen red haired model Karen Elson as their new face.
According to George Sharp, executive vice president of design for St. John, Karen is the “epitome of the modern day woman…the St. John woman… strong, confident, sensual and approachable with effortless glamour.”
And St. John CEO Glenn McMahon said that Angelina is bigger than the brand, and was overshadowing the brand name.

At a poll on the Huffington Post, Angelina was (as of this entry) beating Karen Elson in a poll almost two to one.

And remember the movies that you've seen with Angelina with blonde hair?
Well it turns out, Angelina really has dark blonde hair.
Her mother Marcheline Bertrand didn't care for her blonde locks, so since the age of four, Angelina has been dying her hair dark brown.

And speaking of Angelina's mother, she left $100,000 in a trust fund to three of Angelina's children, Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh.
What about Pax and the twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline?
Well Angelina's mother passed away before those three were born.

Angelina Jolie, Her Firm Abs and The Cinch

So how did Angelina Jolie bounce back so fast after giving birth?
How did she achieve her after pregnancy weight loss?
According to some sources, it's because of a waist-cinching belt called, appropriately enough, The Cinch.

The Cinch is a foot-high canvas belt that wraps around a woman's waist and promises to help new mothers "regain their figures, by tightening all the abdominal muscles with the dual front panels and further cinching with double side wings".

The Cinch has allegedly been used by celebrities like Amy Poehler, Ashlee Simpson, Jennifer Garner, Gwen Stefani and Minnie Driver to regain their flat stomachs after childbirth.

Angelina did lost her "baby bump" pretty quickly, but I have seen women do that naturally, and I thought Angelina's return to fighting form was due to Gunnar Peterson, her personal trainer and hard work.
I have heard that Angelina spends five to six hours a day in the gym.

And while the Cinch is making a big splash, the Royal College of Midwives (RCM) in the UK is warning new mothers that the belt may not be for everyone.
A RCM spokesperson said...
“It is not safe to wear them just after giving birth. I wouldn’t recommend it from a medical perspective. A midwife needs to check that a woman’s uterus is going down after birth. Wearing that could hide the fact that a woman’s uterus isn’t going down, and conceal internal bleeding.”

A spokesperson for The Cinch said that they have not received any complaints about the product or any reports of mothers feeling unwell because of it.

A lot of the buzz about Angelina's stomach is coming from the fact that in her new movie Salt, there are scenes in it where she wears lingerie, and you can clearly see her flat stomach.
While some have claimed body double, her tattoos are visible.
And the last time we saw Angelina's tummy was back in Tomb Raider, before she had Shiloh and the twins.
In the new trailer for Salt, you can see the stomach in question at about 1:44...

I guess in part due to the upcoming “Brangelina: The Untold Story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie” by Ian Halpern, Angelina Jolie seems to be all over the tabloids again.

The Angelina tell-all book is written by the same man that wrote “Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson”.
And like his Michael book, this book makes heavy use of anonymous sources.
We all know how reliable they are right?
Anyway, the Brangelina book is supposed to be backed up by interviews with 900 people that know Brad and Angelina.
I guess 900 of their closest friends?

Halpern says in the book that a Angelina / Brad split is imminent.
Well...In December of 2008, Halperin said that Michael Jackson only had six months to live.
On June 25th, 2009 he passed away.
But while he was (frighteningly) right on target with Jackson's death, he was wrong about him having a whole laundry list of medical conditions.
So I guess we will have to wait and see if Brad and Angelina split up by the end of 2010.

But I guess the big real news about Angelina is that she and Johnny Depp will be starring in The Tourist, set for release in 2011.
And of course the leaked shower scene from the script has everyone going.
From what I understand, The Tourist is a remake of a 2005 film called Anthony Zimmer that starred Sophie Marceau and Yvan Attal.

And finally, Angelina seems to have fallen out of love with President Obama.
(It seems a lot of celebs are)
Before the election, Angelina told the German edition of Vanity Fair that Obama would be great for her family.
But now she is rumored to be openly criticizing him.
Now before you go the " she's just an actress what does she know?" route, remember that she is also a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN Refugee Agency, and has contacts all over the world.

There's a rumor floating around that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt want to make a sequel to their hit movie "Mr and Mrs Smith".
I say rumor because the only place I could find any info about it was the National Enquirer.
At least it didn't say Angelina and Brad were looking at an apartment on the Moon.
You may recall they met and fell in love on the set while they were filming back in 2005.
Brad was still married to Jennifer Aniston at the time.

Allegedly the sequel will have the couple....with kids.
Kids?
Mr and Mrs Smith with children?
Are we getting into Disney territory here?

I really liked the original.
And it grossed over $458 million world wide so it did pretty well.
Except in Colombia where they got a tad upset about the movie.
There was even talk of a spin off TV series.
Though not with Angelina and Brad.

Angelina and David Beckham?

Angelina Jolie has reportedly signed with Emporio Armani to become the hands-on spokesmodel of their new perfume.
The name of the perfume is as yet unrevealed, but Angelina is expected to be heavily involved in it's promotion.
So heavily involved, that Angelina is reportedly picking the photographers and directors for the ad campaign.

Of course David Beckham is also a spokesperson for Armani, so could we be seeing an ad campaign with both Angelina and David?
"No" according to Beckham.
Beckham told Extra that even though he is a huge Angelina fan, he wouldn't feel right about doing an ad with her.

Angelina Jolie knocked Oprah Winfrey out of the top spot on the Forbes Magazine’s Most Powerful Celebrities list.
The magazine cites Angie's busy year with “Kung Fu Panda,” “Wanted” and her new film “Salt,” earning her a cool $27 million dollars.
Also all the press (good and bad) about the birth of her twins (Vivienne and Knox) and with the constant media attention she gets from her relationship with Brad Pitt helped keep her in the limelight.
The annual Celebrity 100 list, ranks the rich and famous based on media exposure and career earnings over the past year.

And despite all the "break up" rumors we keep hearing, now there is a rumor that Brad and Angelina may finally be tying the knot.
And the big wedding may take place in the Caribbean.

And there is another rumor that seven maybe Brad and Angelina's lucky number.
Yes, by adoption or natural birth, the couple may be looking at adding another child to the clan.
Okay guys, "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it" was written a long time ago.

Angelina Jolie and the Deadly Set Light

While working on the set of her upcoming movie "Salt" Angelina Jolie was injured.
Sounds terrible huh?
She accidentally bumped into a set light.
Doesnt sound that bad huh?
Well she got cut and a slight concussion.
See?
She "bumped" into a light...and "bumped" it hard enough to get a concussion?
How hard did she hit that thing?
Well she came back to work, trooper that she is, and they used makeup to cover the injury.
It was evidently right between the eyes.

And in more Tomb Raider 3 news, it looks like producer Dan Lin is in favor of Megan Fox as the new Lara Croft.
Forget Jennifer Aniston, Megan Fox and Angelina Jolie is the feud I wanna see!

Angelina Jolie And James McAvoy were nominated for "Best Kiss"(for Wanted) at MTV's Movie Awards, but they lost to Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson for Twilight.

Ahhhhh...now we know what Angelina was so upset about with the bodyguard's book.
It seems that the tell all book has details about Angelina's affair with “one of the biggest names in rock.”
Now...just who is the rock star alluded to in Mickey Brett's book?
Well get this...now it is rumored to be a female rock star.
Now...who is the rock star?
I have no idea, but I'm guessing Madonna.
Remember the Jenny Shimizu incident back in 2006?

And while the Brangelina war machine is gearing up to crush Brett's book before it gets out of the starting gate....word comes of an attack on another front.
Andrew Morton, the guy that wrote unauthorized biographies of Monica Lewinsky, Princess Diana and Tom Cruise, is now targeting Angie.

And is all the fireworks coming from the Jolie-Pitt camp the reason were seeing the obligatory Brad Pitt / Jennifer Aniston stuff now?
Touch magazine says that Brad visited Jennifer on the set of her new movie "The Baster", while Angelina was working on the set of her movie "Salt".
Of course this report is denied by all the reps of the people involved.
Besides the visit, the two have also allegedly been exchanging text messages and had lengthy phone calls.

Angelina Jolie and the Bodyguard

A former bodyguard of Angelina and Brad, Mickey Brett, is getting into hot water with the pair.
Brett has protected stars like Sandra Bullock,Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman, Sly Stallone, Richard Gere and of course Brangelina.
But now his tell all memoir and possibly a TV show, seem to have Brad and Angie on the defensive.
It seems Brett really liked Angelina and speaks highly of her, but he doesn't hold Brad in the same high regard.
So Brad and Angelina have gotten some of the most feared libel attorneys in the U.S. and the U.K. to make sure Brett's story doesn't get out.

Which of course makes me wonder.
What did they do that they don't want everyone to know about?
Is it just a privacy issue?
Are Sandra Bullock,Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman, Sly Stallone and Richard Gere this upset about the book?
I mean c'mon, it looks like Tom would be the first to launch an attack.

Okay, it may seem like I'm fixated on the De-tox Diet thing....but now Sony has denied that Angelina Jolie collapsed on the set of her new movie "Salt"......

Angelina Jolie and the Detox Diet

Angelina Jolie is doing the lemon juice, cayenne pepper, and maple syrup detox diet on the set of her new movie "Salt" and it appears to have some of her co-stars and crew members a little anxious over her health.
Angelina plans to lose 21 pounds.
The last I heard, everyone was worried about her losing weight, so why is she trying to lose more?
Well it seems one of her disguises in the movie is...a man.
So she is trying to lose her curves to do a more realistic portrayal.
The problem is that Angelina is doing her own stunts, and the detox diet is, according to sources, leaving her weak, dizzy and light headed.
You do NOT want a dizzy and light headed stunt woman.

From what I am reading, it seems she is using the Master Cleanse diet created by Stanley Burroughs in 1941.
The diet itself was made popular in Peter Glickman's book, Lose Weight, Have More Energy and Be Happier in 10 Days.
Burroughs didn't only say that the diet would make you lose weight, but that it also remove harmful toxins from within the body, cure ulcers and "every kind of disease" in the body.
He was later convicted of unlawfully selling devices he claimed could cure cancer, and practicing medicine without a license.

Angelina is not the only celeb to embrace this diet.
Beyoncé did it for 14 days and lost 22 pounds.
Although afterward she denounced using the cleanse as a weight-loss program.
Howard Stern's co host Robin Quivers told People magazine that she went from 218 pounds to 145 pounds on the cleanse.

Despite celebrity use, most doctors say the system is potentially dangerous.

Okay, if Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston are at peace, then why does the media keep playing up their inevitable meeting at the Night Before the Oscars Party in Beverly Hills like a Boxing event or a WWE Heavyweight match?

So is the tabloid war with Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston finally over?
Last week Brad Pitt took the twins to visit Jennifer with Angelina's blessing.
It's also rumored that Brad's mother Jane went with Brad to see his ex-wife.
The visit was allegedly to smooth things out before they all crossed paths at the Oscars.

Of course Brad will be there because of "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" which is nominated for Best Picture, and Brad is nominated for Best Actor.
And Angelina is nominated for best actress in "Changeling". And "Kung Fu Panda" is nominated for Best Animated Film (Angelina did the voice of Master Tigress).

So what is up with the sudden surge in Angelina Jolie look alikes?

Of course we've seen and heard the "Megan Fox is the next Angelina Jolie" thing.

And perhaps even stranger is the media jumping all over Nadya Suleman, the mother of six who gave birth to octuplets last month, saying she bares a remarkable resemblance to Angelina.
Of course Nadya's connection goes deeper than Esha and Megan.
Numerous children, dysfunctional childhood, dark cascading hair, thick full lips, numerous children (hey, she's got 14 kids, I can say it twice).

Angelina and Brad Are Everywhere

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are busy running about and promoting Brad's new movie 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button'.
They were in Germany recently where Brad's partying seemed to have annoyed Angelina who was basically along for the ride.

Of course since they are overseas, this makes them no-show nominees at the Oscars luncheon, which is kinda bad because not only is Brad nominated, but so is Angelina for lead actress in "Changeling".
But that's okay, big stars like Meryl Streep, and Philip Seymour Hoffman were no shows too.

And since Sarah Palin has gone back to Alaska, SNL needs a new target, and recently on the show they did a spoof of Angelina as a "serial adopter".

And finally "Kung Fu Panda" dominated the Annie Awards with 11 awards. That beat Pixar's "Ratatouille"'s run last year.

Angelina Jolie / Brad Pitt Pre Nuptial and Angelina in the Bible?

It seems like every week we have a new Angelina Jolie / Brad Pitt rumor.
The one this week that keeps getting smashed is the $200 million pre-nuptial agreement rumor.
The story was that Angelina had a pre-nuptial agreement drawn up to be signed before she married Brad Pitt.
But one of Angelina's reps has stated that "There is no truth to any of these claims."
Okay, is that the pre-nup claim or the wedding claim?
Brad Pitt has stated he was not going to get married until it was legal for everyone to get married. But that if he and Angelina felt it was important for the children, that they might do it anyway.
And Angelina has said that it might be easier to adopt were they husband and wife.

By the way, Angelina is in the new "Bible Illuminated: The Book - New Testament".
That's right, the Bible.
She appears in a section with Bono, Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa, Ghandi, the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Dalai Lama and Princess Diana, implying they all are messengers of God.
